This device is used primarily with the SmartMind EEG wireless device. It very accurately measures the impedance (i.e., connection quality) of the EEG sensor placement. It is not required for the SmartMind EEG station, SmartMind Personal Trainer, MindWave, or MindWave Mobile devices, which have their own built-in impedance checks.
